Our founding story
How a Sikeston Roofing Contractor Got Its Start in 1949
Lucien Stoner opened Pyramid Roofing Co. in Sikeston in 1949 with little more than a truck, a ladder, and a reputation for doing honest work. Southeast Missouri farms, homes, and small businesses needed a roofer who would stand behind a job long after the last shingle went down, and Lucien built the company on that promise.
Word spread through the Bootheel the way it always does in a small town: neighbor to neighbor. Within a few years, Pyramid Roofing Co. was known throughout Scott County and beyond as a residential roofing company and roofing contractor that treated every roof, big or small, with the same care.
That founding philosophy never left the company. From our shop on State Hwy AA in Sikeston, Lloyd and Grant Stoner still show up the same way Lucien did in 1949: on time, straightforward, and ready to work.

Lucien Stoner's son and grandson now own and operate Pyramid Roofing Co., carrying the business into its fourth generation of family leadership. Few roofing companies in southeast Missouri can point to that kind of continuity, and it shows in how we treat customers, crews, and the trade itself.
